Real maple syrup should list only one ingredient—maple sap boiled to concentrate the sugars. Once the target temperature is reached, maple syrup can be stirred as it cools resulting in a crystallized texture. we add this crystallized maple to our 33% chocolate which has a beautiful light colour and naturally occurring maple flavour.
