Story of the Craft

Autumn Magic

Pumpkin Spice dates back to colonial America, inspired by British mixed spice blends used in pies. It wasn’t tied to pumpkins at first — instead, the spices (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger, allspice) were used with pumpkin in pies, which later gave the blend its name.

Flavour Profile

Warm spiced, caramel and biscuit notes.

Chocolate and Spice have been companions since the time of the Aztecs and Maya, who flavored cacao drinks with chili and vanilla. When European chocolatiers adopted cocoa, they experimented with milder spice profiles. By toasting the milk we draw out beautiful caramel notes with add to the warmth and appeal of our pumpkin spice chocolate
