For those who cherish our Monsooned Malabar coffee and wish to craft their own roast, we offer the unique Green Coffee Beans. This is truly one of the most unusual coffees in the world, prepared exclusively along India's Malabar Coast during the monsoon season. Here, the beans are exposed to moisture-laden winds, causing them to expand and develop a distinctive, syrupy sweetness.

The magic of this process virtually removes all acidity, resulting in an exceptionally smooth tasting coffee – sometimes affectionately called an "aged coffee." Experience the fascinating transformation yourself and unlock unique, complex flavours from these extraordinary beans.

The Story of Our Craft

A Taste of India

We import this bean to use in our Coffee Crunch and for it’s smooth flavour in some of our bonbons.  Of course we also made coffee to drink and just fell in love.  We roast this as fresh as possible often mere minutes before we use or ship it.

Ingredient Spotlight

Our Monsoon Malabar Coffee is inspired by the unique journey of beans from India’s Malabar Coast and undergoes a unique monsoon process where beans are exposed to humid coastal winds. This causes the beans to swell and mellow, developing a rich, earthy depth with smooth, low-acid notes.

Flavour Profile

Very smooth, low acid.
