A Journey of Spice and Chocolate
The word “Chai” itself is the Hindi word for “tea”, and our Masala Chai Chocolate is a tribute to the authentic spice blends of India. This bar is inspired by my Indian heritage, and the traditional method of roasting whole spices to unlock their true potential. Unlike commercial chai flavours that often rely on powdered spices, we carefully roast whole cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and more, grinding them in a stone mill to preserve their aromatic richness. This process creates a truly genuine and balanced spice experience, reflective of the traditions I hold dear.
Ingredient Spotlight
Our spice blend features cardamom, known as the “Queen of Spices”, cinnamon for its warm sweetness, and cloves for their pungent aroma. Each spice is carefully selected and roasted to enhance its flavour profile. The careful balance is what makes this chocolate so special.
