We toast the Sourdough breadcrumbs in brown butter and combine them with creamy 35% milk chocolate, adding a hint of Newfoundland Sea Salt. The result is a uniquely comforting and engaging flavour, perfect for savoring a piece of Canada's rich, diverse history.

First appearing in Canada in the 1840s, Red Fife, grown organically and milled to preserve its natural character, is the wheat that built a nation’s bread. This heritage grain is prized for its rich, nutty flavour and gentle sweetness, with a depth that modern wheats can’t match.

Beyond its taste, Red Fife tells a story of resilience—of farmers and fields, tradition and flavour, carried forward for over 175 years.

The process of sourdough is a labour of love.  The aroma of freshly baked bread is one of the most memorable scents. It evokes a sense of nostalgia for those who had the privilege of growing up with fresh bread at home. We toast and crumble our red fife sourdough with browned butter and sea salt and the contrast of the crunch with the sweet and nutty wheat and butter against the sea salt makes this bar very more-ish.
